Melody Owen works across disciplines and mediums as a conceptual collage, sculpture, and video artist. She is represented by Elizabeth Leach Gallery in Portland, Oregon and has exhibited in many galleries and museums and done artist residencies around the world. She is currently working in multiple virtual worlds as Pearl Hyacinth, and has been involved with the cleanNFT community from its conception. The work shown here is part of her research into zoosemiotics and social, creative, virtual worlds through the depiction of the voices of Australian birds as 3D sound waveforms installed across cyberspace.
